SCARDINA & HANSEN-BUKATA HONOURABLE MENTIONS IN BCHL POW

NANAIMO, BC — Nanaimo Clippers had two players with honourable mentions in the BCHL Player of the Week award for the week ending October 14.

17-year-old, White Rock, BC native Ethan Scardina and 19-year-old, Delta, BC native Aiden Hansen-Bukata contributed in three weekend games. Ethan had a combined three goals and two assists, while Aiden had five assists.

Ethan had one goal, one assist and Aiden had three assists in Friday’s 5-4 overtime win over the defending league champion Wenatchee Wild.

On Saturday Ethan contributed one goal and one assist and Aiden had one assist in the Clippers shoot-out victory over the West Kelowna Warriors.

Sunday saw the Clippers losing 5-2 to the Coquitlam Express with Ethan having one goal and Aiden having one assist.
