Northern Lights Hockey Canada, LLC
Northern Lights Hockey Canada, LLC is the entity that owns and operates the BCHL’s Nanaimo Clippers. The ownership group is led by Managing Partner Brad Kwong, who has guided the organization since Northern Lights Hockey Canada acquired the Clippers in 2022.
Kwong is joined by lead investor Roman Tkachenko and former NHL defenceman Oleg Tverdovsky. Tverdovsky was selected second overall in the 1994 NHL Draft, played 713 regular-season NHL games and won two Stanley Cup championships. Together, the ownership group brings a combination of business leadership, investment experience and elite-level hockey knowledge, with a shared commitment to the long-term success of the Clippers both on and off the ice.
