Bring the Clippers to Your School
The Nanaimo Clippers are excited to connect with students throughout Nanaimo and the surrounding community!
Local schools can request a visit from Clippers players, team staff and, when available, C-Dog. Visits are designed to give students an opportunity to meet members of the team while promoting positive values such as teamwork, leadership, perseverance, healthy living and community involvement.
What Can a School Visit Include?
Depending on your school’s interests and schedule, a visit may include:
- A school assembly or classroom visit
- A question-and-answer session with Clippers players
- Conversations about teamwork, leadership and goal-setting
- Reading with students
- Participation in physical education or school activities
- Photos and autographs
- A special appearance by C-Dog, subject to availability
We are happy to work with your school to create a visit that is engaging and appropriate for your students.
