Nanaimo Clippers Sign Forward Vince Kalscheur

The Nanaimo Clippers are pleased to announce the signing of forward Vince Kalscheur from Middleton, Wisconsin, USA, for the remainder of the BCHL season.

Kalscheur joins the Clippers after spending last season with the North Iowa Bulls of the NAHL. Prior to his time in the NAHL, Kalscheur developed his game at Culver Military Academy, the same program attended by current Clipper Nathan Larioza.

Head Coach Colin Birkas praised the addition, noting both Kalscheur’s character and versatility. “Vince is a high-character, high-compete player with good size and the ability to play anywhere in our top nine,” said Birkas. “He’s a former teammate of Larioza, and like many players who come through Culver Academies, he brings maturity, discipline, and a strong team-first mindset.”

The Clippers organization would like to acknowledge Culver Academies for continuing to develop student-athletes who embody excellence and integrity both on and off the ice.

When asked what Clippers fans can expect, Kalscheur described himself as “a power forward that brings high energy and intensity.” He added, “I am extremely excited to join such a strong team and a reputable program. I’m also pumped up to compete in a great league with amazing atmospheres and cities.”

Welcome Aboard, Vince!
