May 7th Game Day Preview

Clippers are against the Cowichan Valley Capitals when they face-off against them at 7 p.m. tonight.

After his first BCHL win, goalie #30 Ethan Neitsch commented on tonight’s game, “We are in a tight race with Cowichan Valley currently in the standings. Getting a win tonight is crucial to ensure we win that race. We just need to continue to play our game and focus on playing a full 60 minutes.”

“We had a great game against Victoria on Wednesday, so if we continue to play that way, we should have no trouble tonight against Cowichan.”

“We’re down to the last couple games here, so we owe it to our vets to end on a high note by continuing our win streak!”

Veteran #28 Liam Ryan, who had two goals in Wednesday’s 9-6 win of the Grizzlies, had this to say on tonight’s game. “Need to build off our last game, continuing to put pucks in the net and having fun doing so. But need to clean up our defensive zone.”

“Our goal is to finish .500 and we have a chance to do so.”

Clippers celebrate one of their goals in the April 21st 4-2 win over the Capitals.

The Clippers next action is Saturday, May 8th against the Cowichan Valley Capitals at 7 p.m.
