Clippers win 4th in a row

The Nanaimo Clippers won their fourth straight game with a 3-0 victory over the Cowichan Valley Capitals in Duncan on Saturday Night.

The game would be in Nanaimo's control early, scoring once in the first as Reid Sturos buried a rebound on the Powerplay. Assist was given to Josh Bryan, although Chris Rygus took the initial shot off the Bryan pass.

There would be no scoring until the 3rd period when Mason Mitchell scored on a partial breakaway, while Sturos added his 2nd of the night sliding a shot through the five-hole of Cowichan's goalie Connor Lacouvee, who was named 3rd star. 

Jayson Argue would record a shutout making 29 saves and would be named 2nd star. Sturos would be the game's first star.
