Clippers outscored 6-4

The Nanaimo Clippers took a 4 game win streak into a home game against the Vernon Vipers on Friday night, and that streak would end with a 6-4 loss.

A first period that was dominated by the Clippers in the shot column, however it was the Vernon Vipers escaping with the 1-0 lead.

The second period would turn into the Andrew Tegeler show for the Vipers, as he burned goalie Jayson Argue for 3 goals in 11 minutes. For the Clippers in the 2nd period Matt Grant would get a Powerplay marker and Garrett Brandsma would get his 2nd of the season. It would be 4-2 after 2 periods. 

The third would start off as if the Clippers had a fire lit underneath them, scoring just 10 seconds in on the Powerplay, Reid Sturos would get the goal. Sturos would add his second of the night making the game 5-4, however Logan Mick would score for Vernon to make it 6-4. Final Shots on goal were 44-24.
