I am please to announce the Nanaimo Clippers have named Trevor Fitzgerald the Captain of our team.
In our Captain we were looking for someone who works hard both on and off the ice. Someone who is mature and confident and knows how to prepare for success on a daily basis. A player who can be relied upon in all key situations on the ice and is a consistent performer. As well as someone who has had a taste of success in the game and can bring that experience of success to our team.
After having our team together now for approximately six weeks we have identified the person to take on this role. We know we want the culture surrounding our team to be moving forward and we believe Trevor will be an integral part of leading us in that direction.
Trevor will be joined by Assistant Captains Graeme McCormack, Colton Cyr, Andrew Gladiuk and Kyle Kramer.
