Clippers end 2019 with a 5-4 victory over Kings

The Clippers knew they need some offense after being kept off the scoreboard Monday night, and they got what they asked for scoring five goals in the 5-4 victory over the Powell River Kings to end 2019 in the win category.

The Kings would get on the board first at 4:53 in the first period but it was retaliated by four Clipper goals before the end of the period. First by Sean Donaldson at 5:56, within two minutes Steven Agriogianis would add one assisted by Tyler Williams.

Josh Bourne would add his 20th goal of the season while Tim Washe from Sean Donaldson would get the Clippers fourth goal.

In the second period the Kings would manage to get within one goal after scoring two quick goals however Tyler Williams would score late on the powerplay to regain a two goal lead.

The Kings would get within a goal late in the period by Levi Glasman but that was all as the Clippers would end 2019 with a win.

Up next the Clippers return home Friday, January 3rd against the Cowichan Valley Capitals.
