Nanaimo Clippers goaltender Jordan Naylor has been named the FortisBC Player of the Month for the month of December.
Naylor led the BCHL with a .940 save percentage in the month and was also tops in goals-against average with a mark of 1.83. His two shutouts were also the most in December.
The 19-year-old from Aldergrove, B.C. won four of his eight starts in the month. His best stretch came when he recorded back-to-back shutouts against the Merritt Centennials on Dec. 15 and the Victoria Grizzlies on Dec. 20.
Naylor now leads the BCHL with a .945 save percentage on the season and is tied for the lead with five shutouts. His 1.71 goals-against average is also second-best in the league.
