The Nanaimo Clippers would like to congratulate Tyler Williams on being named the Panago Pizza Player of the Week.
Williams who hails from South Lyon, Michigan is in his rookie year with the Clippers and is already putting up impressive numbers. In 42 games played he has 36 points, 12 goals and 24 assists.
On the weekend he added three assist in the win over the Penticton Vees. First assist was on the Clippers first goal scored by Jonathan Stein, second assist was on the third Clippers goal scored by Matthew Mosher and his final assist was on the Clippers third goal scored by Sammy Steele.
Williams was also named the games second star.
