Clippers Announce 2019 Spring Camp Dates

The Naniamo Clippers of the BCHL have announced they will be hosting three 2019 Spring Identification Camps in March and April with the intent of finding the newest recruits for the team.

Like any BCHL team, the Clippers Spring Camps is where it all starts for any player looking to join the team and compete in the league.

The Clippers will be holding two of their own Camps, one in Delta, BC from March 28th to 31st and one in Nanaimo, BC from April 12th – 14th while partnering with the Sicamous Eagles of the KIJHL to co-host one in Sicamous, BC from March 29th to 31st.

“We expect like last season to hand out a dozen or more invites to our Main Camp,” says Head Coach & General Manager Darren Naylor. “These camps give every player who’s interested in playing with us the chance to shine. I can’t make it to see every possible player so it’s a great way for the players to showcase to us that they can play with our team”

“The Nanaimo Clippers have a rich history for picking up great talent and helping them reach their goals as Junior Hockey Players. Just in the last few years we have seen dozens of players receive NCAA Scholarships.” Naylor mentioned.

Spring Identification Camps run three/four days (Thursday to Sunday) and camp games, fitness testing, education seminar, information seminar and one on one meetings with Clippers Staff. They are open to players born between 1999 and 2004. The cost to participate in a Spring Identification Camp is $275 (includes tax).
