The Nanaimo Clippers would send the fans home happy with a late goal in the third to take the game 2-1 over the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.
Silverbacks Jayden Price would get on the scoreboard first at 9:18 in the first period which would be the lone goal in the period. The goal was assisted by Lucas Breault and Drew Bennett.
The newest Josh Kagan would score in his first goal as a Clipper at 18:24 in the second period assisted by Trevor LeDonne and Aiden Hansen-Bukata to tie things up.
Late in the third period Mackenzie Merriman would score assisted by Liam Ryan and Josh Bourne, which would end up being the game winner as the Clippers took the game 2-1.
The Clippers are back in action tomorrow night for Teddy Bear Toss Night when they host the Surrey Eagles.
