Clippers sign Bobby Landry

The Clippers have added Bobby Landry, a 2004 born USA forward from Hingham, Massachusetts to their roster for the 2022-2023 season. Landry was a 29th overall draft pick of the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada of the QMJHL (Major Junior) and a 108th overall draft pick of the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders of the USHL but opted to come out to the BCHL instead. He has seen some time in the US Hockey Development program playing for Team Columbia. Currently, he is playing with the high-end Dexter Southfield School program in the USHS-Prep (US High School Hockey). He is committed to Harvard of the NCAA Div. 1.

Colin Birkas, Associate Coach, offered the following scouting report; “Landry is a good sized, skilled forward that plays both sides of puck well. He is good on draws, which is definitely a must for a center.

He is a very competitive player and has a great work ethic. He was highly sought after by other programs in the BCHL so we are lucky to land Landry. He’s going to be a big part of our future.”

Wesley Mussio, owner of the Clippers added; “Our scouting reports put Bobby Landry as one of the elite level US players available for the coming season. Getting the commitment to Harvard is no small matter. He’s also a high-level draft pick in both the USHL and Major Junior showing that he’s on everyone’s radar. We are very fortunate to be able to land this player especially given that he comes from a prestigious hockey family out of the US who I’m sure have a lot of connections in the hockey community to place their son in an elite junior program. We are happy he picked the Clippers to continue his path to the NCAA Div. 1.”
