CHRISTMAS GREETING AND PLAYERS’ TRADITIONS

The Nanaimo Clippers want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

With the Clippers taking a holiday break, Clippers’ play-by-play announcer Dan Marshall asked the players if they had any traditions that they look forward to every year.

Brad Belisle (#19): We eat dinner with my extended family at my aunties’ house.

Vincent Millette (#27): Just get together, all my family at the same place.

Parker Colley (#10): We don’t have too many, just pretty much hanging out with the family and enjoying each other’s presents.

Max Crozier (#2): Back in the day when me, Tristan and my little sister were younger, we used to put on a little Christmas show, and sing like Christmas songs and now I’ve got a little cousin, but she won’t be joining us. So that tradition is kind of gone, but it’s one thing that makes me think of Christmas.

Sam MacBean (#4): Feeding the reindeer with my little cousins.

Lucas Vanroboys (#18): Hot Chocolate with Marshmallows.

Tristan Crozier (#16): I have to say skating on the outdoor rink.

Jack MacNab (#20): No, nothing really. Nothing special, maybe my mom’s sweet potato casserole.

Brady Lynn (#17): Just having dinner with my family.

David Silye (#21): Probably just opening presents and being around everyone.

Taz Burman (#30): Just the Christmas meal with my extended family. That’s pretty cool.

Preston Brodziak (#25): We go to my cabin for the Christmas day and we go skating on the lake.

David Melaragni (#5): Oh yeah, Christmas morning, always going to my grandparents house and then later on we go back to grandparents house for dinner.

Noah FeatherStonhaugh Gowe (#31): Going up to see my grandparents at their cottage and going skating on that little lake.

Hunor Torzsok (#23): I don’t know, just spending time with my family.

Jake Harris (#9): Nothing really. Just sleeping in as long as I can.

Jamie Collins (#22): Turkey at Christmas.

Jeremy Gervais (#24): Go to my grandmas every Christmas Eve with my cousins and aunties and stuff.

Tyler Maser (#8): Just cutting down the trees with all my friends. That’s always fun to do.

Brandon Marinelli (#7): We do like an ugly sweater Christmas dinner.

Jordan Wharrie (#6): We have a big Christmas Eve dinner at my house usually.

Cal Babych (#11): We usually have a big Christmas Even party, it’s pretty fun, good times.

Unfortunately Colin Heinold (#14) was not available.
