The Nanaimo Clippers will finish their pre-season preparations by hosting the Rhodesie Cup, a final training camp intra-squad game.
The Rhodesie Cup, an annual event, will take place Friday, August 26th, 6:00 p.m. at Frank Crane Arena.
The Rhodesie Cup is played in honour of the late Michael Rhode, who passed away in 2010. Michael was a fixture in the Nanaimo sports scene working for the Nanaimo Daily News and a dear friend and fan of the Nanaimo Clippers.
The Nanaimo Boys and Girls Club will be in attendance collecting admission by donation, with all proceeds to the Nanaimo Boys and Girls Club.
