Preview of tonight’s game against the Bulldogs

The Clippers hope to continue their advantage over the Alberni Valley Bulldogs having won two of the last three games against them. They travel over the hump today to meet the Bulldogs, 7 p.m. at Weyerhaeuser Arena in Port Alberni.

The Clippers will look to veteran #22 Tim Washe to lead the attack as he returns from a two-game suspension. Veterans #17 Sean Donaldson, #18 Kyler Kovich, #28 Liam Ryan and #27 Trevor LeDonne are also going to be called upon to lead the team back to the winning column.

New forward, #10 Matt Nastasiuk, is expected to have a big impact in his first game as a Nanaimo Clipper. The 20-year-old Barrie, Ontario native played the previous three season with the Trenton Golden Hawks of the OJHL. During last season in 46 regular-season games he recorded 18 goals and 16 assist. While in five playoff games he recorded 2 goals and 3 assists.
