This week the Nanaimo Clippers have named Gunnar Wegleitner as this week’s Panago Pizza Player of the Week.
This past weekend Wegleitner earned five points in both wins against the Langley Rivermen and Wenatchee Wild.
On Saturday night Wegleitner got the first assist in Nanaimo’s second goal by Marcus Mitchell followed by the fourth goal of the game in the third period assisted by Sammy Steele in the 5-2 win and earned himself the third star of the game.
On Sunday afternoon Wegleitner scored the first two Clipper goals in the second period both assisted by Tyler Williams, while getting the second assist on the fourth goal of the game scored by Marcus Mitchell and he also got named the games second star.
The Nanaimo Clippers and Panago Pizza would like to congratulate Gunnar Wegleitner on being named this week’s player of the week.
