Nanaimo, BC - February 15, 2024 - The Nanaimo Clippers would like to announce the rescheduled date for the postponed game against the Victoria Grizzlies. Originally slated for January 13th, 2024, the game was unfortunately postponed due to transportation issues. The rescheduled matchup against the Victoria Grizzlies will take place on March 9th, 2024, at 6:00 PM in Victoria.
In addition to announcing the rescheduled game, the Nanaimo Clippers also wish to inform fans of a timing adjustment for another highly anticipated matchup. The home game against the Surrey Eagles, originally scheduled for March 10th, 2024, at 2:00 PM in Nanaimo, will now begin at 4:00 PM. This change has been made to provide our players with additional rest, especially considering it falls on the weekend when clocks are set forward for daylight saving time.
Furthermore, due to the timing change for the March 10th game, the Nanaimo Clippers regret to announce that they will not be able to host their traditional Skate with the Clippers event following the game. To make up for this disappointment, the Clippers' players will be attending the free Family Day skate at Frank Crane Arena from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM on February 19th. This presents a fantastic opportunity for fans to interact with their favourite players in a fun and family-friendly environment.
