Mark your calendars for November 1st, as the Clippers proudly announce their inaugural School Day Game, taking place at 11:00am at the Frank Crane Arena. This initiative is set to bring the thrill of the game closer to the hearts of school-aged children from across Nanaimo.

Great community partners like Inland Truck & Equipment, Kal Tire, J.E. Anderson & Associates, and Subaru of Nanaimo have already contributed funds to support the event.
The Nanaimo Clippers have worked in close partnership with the local school district to orchestrate a unique opportunity for students to witness live hockey action while fostering a sense of camaraderie and shared excitement. By scheduling the game at the early hour of 11:00 a.m., the Clippers aim to accommodate school schedules and allow children to partake in a memorable outing.

The excitement doesn't end with the School Day Game, as the Frank Crane Arena will continue to buzz with energy into the evening. The Vancouver Island University (VIU) Mariners Men's Hockey team will take the ice at the arena for a game against the University of Victoria, scheduled for the traditional 7:00 p.m. time slot. In a display of community unity, the Mariners have generously extended an invitation to all Clippers season ticket holders, allowing them complimentary access to the evening matchup. This thoughtful gesture ensures that fans who are unable to attend the morning game due to work commitments can still revel in the electrifying atmosphere of live hockey action.
