Last second heroics by Bourne gives Clippers 3-2 win

A rare, non-divisional Wednesday game took place at Frank Crane Arena between the Nanaimo Clippers and West Kelowna Warriors was anything but boring as both teams would trade goals until the final seconds.

The Warriors who were coming off an overtime loss the night before had a slow start in the first period where the Clippers capitalized at 13:41 by Steven Agriogianis assisted by Josh Kagan which was the lone goal in the first period.

During the second frame the Warriors would turn it up abit scoring the only two goals in the period first by Josh Evans shorthanded followed by Levi Stauber to give the Warriors the 2-1 lead.

MacKenzie Merriman would get things tied by at 8:29 of the third period by Steven Agriogianis and Josh Bourne, and with 21 seconds to go a solo effort from Robby Drazner to get in deep where he found Josh Bourne at the top of the slot to score and win the game 3-2.
