The Clippers have kept their roll going with divisional wins against Victoria and Cowichan Valley last week.

On Wednesday Nanaimo concluded their series with the Grizzlies with a 4-3 home ice win.

Jamie Collins was the hero scoring the game winner with just over a minute to play.

Victoria won the season series with a 4-2-2 record but the Clippers came up with a win and a tie in the final two head to head games.

Friday night was a night to remember for rookie Josh Bourne he had a hat trick and an assist in the Clippers 8-5 win over the Capitals.

Twelve different Clippers hit the score sheet as the team moved 6-0 against Cowichan Valley and improved their current streak to 3-0-1 in the last four contests.

This week will start with a trip to Port Alberni to play the Bulldogs.

Nanaimo is 6-1 against the Dogs with this being the final game of the season series.

Friday can be termed as revenge night with a visit from the Wenatchee Wild to Frank Crane Arena.

The two teams played to a tie at the BCHL Showcase but the Clippers lost 10-3 in Wenatchee in the middle of January.

That game will no doubt be on the minds of the players as they look to turn the tables on one of the best teams in the Interior Division.

Saturday is another date with an Interior team when the Merritt Centennials visit.

The Cents beat Nanaimo 4-2 in the final game before the Christmas break and they have a couple of former Clippers in goalie Austin Roden and forward Zach Court.

Nanaimo starts the week in third place in the Island Division but just three points behind the first place Grizzlies and two points back of the second place Kings.
