The Clippers take on the Island Cup leading Victoria Grizzlies today at Frank Crane Arena. Game time is 2 p.m.
The Clippers trail the Grizzlies by 1 point (17-16) in the Island Cup and are looking to leapfrog over them today.
Last night’s game in Alberni saw the defensive corps score 5 points out of the 9 points earned in the 3-1 victory over the Alberni Valley Bulldogs. The Clippers will be looking for some more output from the offensive corps in today’s game.
If the Clippers can win today and again, when they face the same Grizzlies on Saturday night, they will secure 1st place in the Island Cup.
