Both teams seemed to have the jitters going for game one of the Island Division Semifinals as it was an explosive night offensnley.
The Nanaimo Clippers would open the scoring at 1:04 in the first period by Josh Bourne, which was retaliated by the Bulldogs Isaac Pascoal to tie it up. Clippers captain Ethan Scardina would draw a late goal in the first period to send the Clippers to the dressing room with the 2-1.
During the second period Clippers would score three more goals while Bulldogs would add two, Clippers goals from Steven Agriogianis, Josh Bourne and Ethan Scardina while both of the Bulldogs goals were scored by Jacob Bosse.
The Clippers would add another goal in the third period by Tim Washe to settle the game 6-3 for the Clippers.
