Clippers / Great Nanaimo Toy Drive – Stuff the Bus

“Stuff a Bus! That’s amazing”, Carlyn Iles, Director for the Great Nanaimo Toy Drive exclaimed, when she heard about the Nanaimo Clippers idea. “It is so wonderful to see the Clippers carrying on their tradition of partnership with the toy drive. Youth helping youth and families helping families, through a community event, such as the Stuff the Bus campaign should make the whole community proud!”

For many years, the Nanaimo Clippers have partnered with the toy drive, providing thousands of stuffed animals for Nanaimo’s kids. This year, the Stuff the Bus campaign will provide the toy drive with COVID safe toys!  It is happening at the Nanaimo Clippers December 10th game. The bus will be parked out in front of the pool at Beban Park, and Toy Drive volunteers will be on hand to help gather your toys starting at 5:45 p.m., prior to the 7 p.m. game time. So come on everyone! You can enjoy the Clippers Game and Help STUFF THE BUS!

Isabella Kortbeek, Clippers’ Marketing/Sales representative, added “It’s about listening to our community partners and how we can make the greatest impact this year. Our partnership with the Great Nanaimo Toy Drive has also been about bringing gifts and hope to families in need at Christmas, and the Stuff the Bus campaign is exactly how we’ll do that this year.”

Not sure what to bring on December 10th? According to the Great Nanaimo Toy Drive, some of the most requested items this year are: Paw Patrols, LOL Dolls, Arts, Craft and Science kits, Board Games, headphones, scooters, or skateboards.
