The 11th. annual Nanaimo Sport Achievement Awards finalists have been announced and the Nanaimo Clippers have been nominated in three categories:
Male Team Athlete of the Year – Sheldon Rempal
High Performance Coach of the Year – Mike Vandekamp
Sports Story of the Year – Nanaimo Clippers’ playoff run
The Awards gala event is coming up February 12th. and a panel of judges made up of media and other members of the sports community will determined finalists in each of the awards categories.
