The Nanaimo Clippers have added goaltender Chazz Nixon to their line-up. The nineteen-year-old, Oshawa, Ont. native is 6’3” and weighs 205 lbs.
Chazz came highly recommended from our Ontario connections. Very competitive goalie with great size. Chazz played for Team Canada East last year and most recently for the Drayton Valley Thunder of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. In 19 games with the Thunder, Chazz had a goals-against average of 2.77 and a save percentage of .920.
In the 2022-2023 season, Chazz played for the Toronto Jr. Canadiens of the Ontario Junior Hockey League where in 19 games he had a GAA of 1.98 and a save percentage of .931. He also played two games for the Mississauga Steelheads of the Ontario Hockey League.
