Clippers Active on Trade Deadline
Following the moves made the week prior to the Jan. 10th Trade Deadline, the Nanaimo Clippers continued to be active on the deadline itself. The Clippers added 20 year old forward Josh Blanchard from the Salmon Arm Silverbacks for future considerations while trading Aidan Casey to the Hawkesbury Hawks of the CCHL for future considerations.
In Blanchard the Clippers are adding a veteran BCHL forward who has recorded 46 goals 64 assists for 110 points in 181 regular season games. He is expected to add a much needed veteran presence both on and off the ice.
