The Clippers will look to get back on the win column tonight, when they play the Cowichan Valley Capitals in their Island Division Pod season game at 7 p.m. The Clippers presently have won two of the three matchups with the Capitals, winning 5-2 and 2-0. Their one loss was 3-2 last Friday.
Associate coach Colin Birkas remarked, “As nice as it is to be back playing we still have expectations as a program and we fell well short of meeting them in our last two games. We have a shorter roster and guys playing out of position but we need to focus on what we can control and the outcomes will be more favourable moving forward.”
The Clippers will meet the Alberni Valley Bulldogs for the first time this season on Thursday, April 15 at 7 p.m.
