After #17 Sean Donaldson’s exciting shootout wining goal last night over the Cowichan Capitals and winning our last 3 games. The Clippers head over the hump today to face the Alberni Valley Bulldogs. The teams meet last Saturday, with the Clippers defeating the Bulldogs 5-4.
Clippers sit with 10 points in the Island Cup Tournament. One point behind the Victoria Grizzlies and 5 points ahead of Alberni and Cowichan.
The Clippers will look to veterans #18 Kyler Kovich and #22 Tim Washe to continue their production. Kyler having 3 assists and Tim having a goal and 1 assist in last night’s game. They will also look to #17 Sean Donaldson, who beside having the game winning shootout goal last night, leads the Clippers with 10 points (4G, 7A). Also look to newcomer #3 Gianni Fairbrother to make an impact.
