The Clippers streak is up to 11 straight games with at least a point after a tie and a win last week.

Nanaimo earned a 2-2 tie in Victoria on Friday in a game that featured 80 shots.

Taz Burman stopped 48 shots and David Silye and Lucas Vanroboys provided the offense.

Saturday the Clippers blanked the Alberni Valley Bulldogs 4-0 thanks to a 31 save performance from goalie Noah Featherstonhaugh Gowe.

Offensively the Clippers notched three power play goals including the first BCHL goal for Collin Heinold.

This week the Clippers have three games including a game Wednesday against the Cowichan Valley Capitals that will wrap up the first half of the BCHL season.

Nanaimo is 3-0 against the Capitals, and with a win would have at least a point in every game in the month of November.

The Clippers start December against the Penticton Vees at home on Friday and then host Langley on Sunday afternoon.

The Penticton game will be the first against the Vees this season while the Langley contest will be the second game head to head in a two week span.

On November 19 the Rivermen beat Nanaimo 2-1 in double overtime.

The Clippers will be missing Max Crozier for at least one game this weekend.

He was named to the World Junior A Challenge selection camp roster.

The camp will take place from December 2-5 in Calgary.
