The Nanaimo Clippers cannot thank the corporate community of Nanaimo enough for their support this past season. Beginning quite frank the corporate community makes up over 25% of the Clippers overall revenue budget. Without the support of our sponsors we would not exist.
So, we are trying to do our part to show our appreciation during this tough time. Every Thursday we are going to shoutout to a local business whether we order food from them, get a car wash or anything we can do while the COVID-19 situation is going on.
1. Our first #ThankfulThursday goes to the Great Canadian Oil Change. Today we took the truck to get cleaned as their car wash at the Woodgrove location is still open. GCOC has been a longstanding sponsor of the Clippers.
2. Our second #ThankfulThursday we ordered from Original Joes Restaurant. OJ’s has been a longstanding sponsor of the Clippers, always feeding the players and fans after every home game. My personal favorite is the Cajun Chicken Burger.
It’s Thursday which means we turn to thanking businesses who have supported us.
Our first #ThankfulThursday goes to Kal-Tire who recently fixed our flat tire.
Thanks to Darren, Roger, Spencer and Blayde for helping out.
They were super helpful making changes to our fleet of vehicles during this time.
Thanks for your support this past season.
Thanks to Brooke and her team at Pita Pit for lunch today.
Pita Pit is a new partner of ours this year and we are super thankful for all their support. #ThankfulThursday
Our first #ThankfulThursday goes to our fans — the best fans in the BCHL.
You continue to amaze us with your devotion to this team.
Personal shoutout to the fan who made this scarf.
They’re working extremely hard right now to help keep our shelves and refrigerators stocked.
Thrifty Foods also helps feed all our players and billet families all season long.
