The Trail Smoke Eaters caught the Nanaimo Clippers a little tired from their travels and defeated them 4-1.
It was a slow start to the game with the Smoke Eaters being the lone team to get the on the scoreboard at 14:58 by Braden Costello.
During the second period Nanaimo would get on the board at 10:06 by Josh Bourne, but within a minute the Smoke Eaters would retaliate and tie the game back up by Liam Freeborn. The Smoke Eaters would add another one to take the 3-1 lead by Braden Costello.
The Clippers would pull Zach Bennett late in the third period however the Smoke Eaters would score to take the game 4-1.
The Clippers are back on the road as they take on the Penticton Vees tomorrow night at 6:00PM.
