NANAIMO – #23 Sammy Steele has been named this week’s BCHL Player of the Week.
The 18-year-old, Hummelstown, Pennsylvania native, in two games this weekend had: 3 goals, 3 assists, a hat trick, a game winning goal and was named 1st star.
Sammy has commited to attend Arizona State University.
Coach Naylor said that, “after having surgery on both feet in the off season, Sammy is starting to hit his stride, getting better every game. It was nice for Sammy to have a big weekend with his parents visiting him from Pennsylvania.”
Sammy’s game-winning goal in Friday, Nov. 9th game against the Alberni Valley Bulldogs.
