The Nanaimo Clippers have announced that goaltender Landon Pavlisin has been named this weeks Panago Pizza Player of the Week.
Pavlisin who is in his first year as a Clippers has played in 20 games with an 8-11 record and a .899 save percentage.
In the first game on the weekend Pavlisin kicked away 42 of 43 shots he faced in the 2-1 win over the Cowichan Valley Capitals where he was also named the games first star.
In the second game of the weekend he stopped 32 of 38 shots in the 4-3 overtime loss to the Capitals and was again named the games first star.
