Off-season story: Josh Bourne

Continuing on with our Boston Pizza Off-Season Stories we chatted with Nanaimo Clipper Veteran Josh Bourne.

Bourne, who in 36 games this past season put up 36 points, 13 goals and 23 assist and was a vital player for Head Coach Darren Naylor.

One of Bourne’s favorite memories from this past season was being part of the 10 game winning streak “Nothing really brings a locker room together more than wins and 10 at that” mentioned Josh Bourne.

He went onto say it was great playing in front of lively fans at Frank Crane Arena “All season long, especially towards the end we knew our fans had our backs. It is a great feeling knowing we have incredible fans.”

In the off-season Bourne is focusing on training and playing lacrosse with his young brother while spending time with family.

Bourne is entering into his final season in Junior A Hockey and will return to Nanaimo August 19th when the Clippers Main Camp kicks off.
