Nanaimo, B.C. – December 1, 2025 — The Nanaimo Clippers have traded for 2006-born right-shot forward Jordan Geike from the Chilliwack Chiefs in exchange for the playing rights to goaltender Kyan Labbe, a 2007-born netminder currently playing in the QMJHL with the Sherbrooke Phoenix.
Geike, a Rochester, Minnesota native, joins the Clippers with 76 games of BCHL experience, bringing proven scoring and two-way ability to Nanaimo’s forward group. Last season Geike recorded 28 points in 44 games. So far this season, he has 6 points in 15 games with Chilliwack.
“We’re excited to add Jordan to our lineup,” said Clippers Head Coach and General Manager Colin Birkas. “He’s a hard-working player with skill, who competes every shift and understands what it takes to play in this league. His experience will be a great fit for our group moving forward.”
