Nanaimo Clippers Sign Sebastian Miles

NANAIMO, B.C. — December 28, 2025 — The Nanaimo Clippers have added defenseman Sebastian Miles to their roster. The 2006-born blueliner from Port Moody, British Columbia, joins the Clippers after most recently playing for the Battlefords North Stars of the SJHL. Since the start of the 2024–25 season, Miles has appeared in 73 games with the North Stars, recording 6 goals, 12 assists, and 163 penalty minutes.

“Miles is a B.C. kid with good size and mobility,” said Clippers Head Coach Colin Birkas. “He’s a mobile defenseman with some bite to his game and defends well. With the losses of Gill and Holomego for the season, this was a necessary transaction to solidify our back end.”

Miles brings a team-first mentality to the Clippers. On joining Nanaimo, he said, “I’m very thankful for the opportunity and excited to be part of such a great organization. I’m looking forward to learning from the team and doing whatever I can to help them succeed.”

The Clippers continue to strengthen their defensive core as they push into the second half of the BCHL season. Nanaimo opens the 2026 portion of their schedule with a road trip to face the Cranbrook Bucks on January 3.
