Nanaimo, Dec.21st, 2020 – The Nanaimo Clippers are excited to announce Take a Load Off Moving, a family operated Vancouver Island moving company based in Nanaimo, will be donating 100 Keel the Seals to the Great Nanaimo Toy Drive.
The Clippers organization has supported The Great Nanaimo Toy Drive in previous seasons by holding an annual Teddy Bear Toss game where stuffed animals were collected and donated. Toy Drives across Canada have been impacted by COVID-19. With an increased demand for support and operational logistics strained, the Clippers wanted to find a solution to be involved and help out. The Great Nanaimo Toy Drive, which hopes to support 1200 children this year, could not accept stuffed animals that would have been donated in a traditional sense and the Clippers could not hold the beloved Teddy Bear Toss Game. The Clippers are providing a contactless solution with Keel the Seal. Fans can purchase a Keel the Seal online that will be delivered directly to the Great Nanaimo Toy Drive.
