NANAIMO, B.C. – The Nanaimo Clippers are proud to announce the addition of defenceman Antoine Cormier from the Blackfalds Bulldogs.
Cormier, a 2008-born blueliner from Quebec City, Quebec, joins the Clippers as the youngest player on the current roster and has already made an immediate impression—scoring in his very first game wearing the orange and black vs Powell River on Friday October 24th.
“Antoine is a young player with exceptional poise and offensive instincts,” said Clippers Head Coach Colin Birkas. “He’s shown right away that he can contribute at both ends of the ice, and we’re excited to watch his development in Nanaimo.”
Standing out for his mobility, puck-moving ability, and composure beyond his years, Cormier adds depth and youthful energy to the Clippers’ defensive core as the team continues to build toward a strong BCHL campaign.
The Clippers would like to welcome Antoine and his family to the Nanaimo community.
