MAXWELL CROZIER COMMITS TO PROVIDENCE COLLEGE

The Nanaimo Clippers are pleased to announce that first year defenseman Max Crozier has committed to NCAA Division 1 Providence College for the 2019-20 season.

Crozier has been steadily improving in his time with the Clippers and along with that he has been getting more and more ice time. The 17-year-old is Nanaimo’s rookie scoring leader and has taken on an important role on the team’s defense corps.

Recently NHL Central Scouting recognized Crozier by putting him on their Ones to Watch list for the 2018 NHL Draft.

Coach Mike Vandekamp believes Crozier has a bright future. “Max is a player with tremendous potential. He has a strong skill set and the drive to succeed at the next level.  I look forward to working with him further to help him achieve his hockey goals,” said Vandekamp.

This season has been a special one for the Crozier family with both Max and his older brother Tristan playing for the Clippers.

Earlier this week Tristan Crozier made an NCAA commitment to Brown University.
