Nanaimo, BC – The Nanaimo Clippers are beyond thrilled to announce the return of forward Patrick Fortune for the 2025–26 BCHL season. After a breakout campaign and electrifying postseason performance last year, the dynamic 19-year-old is back to bring his high-octane energy and offensive flair to Frank Crane Arena.
During the 2024–25 regular season, Fortune logged 33 games, racking up 9 goals and 18 assists for a total of 27 points, ranking him among the team’s top producers with a 0.82 points-per-game average . But it was in the playoffs that Fortune truly shined—posting 4 goals in just 5 games, including several timely finishes to ignite the Clippers’ postseason push .
Patrick Fortune shared his excitement about making his return:
“I couldn’t be more excited to be back with this team and this city. Last year was special, and the fans here made it unforgettable. The energy in the rink and the support around town really stuck with me, so it feels great to come back and be part of it again. Ready to get back to work with the guys!”
Head Coach & GM Colin Birkas added his enthusiasm:
“Patty was very good down the stretch and led us in goals in the playoffs. Very excited that he has decided to return home to finish off his junior hockey.”
