Clippers win 7th in a row, 2-1 over Langley

The Nanaimo Clippers headed into Langley this afternoon a little slower as it was their third game in two and a half days, but it didn’t stop them as they came back from behind to win 2-1 giving them their seventh win in a row.

The Rivermen would start things off in the first period with the lone goal at 12:58 on the powerplay by Brendan Budy, which was the only goal until the third period.

In the third period at 5:23 Josh Bourne would score assisted by Kyler Kovich to tie things up.

Later in the period Steve Agriogianis from Robby Drazner would get the Clippers ahead, and would eventually turn out to be the game winning goal.

Jordan Naylor was named the games first star stopping 35 of the 36 shots he faced.

The Clippers have a few days off before heading to Trial next week for another three game road trip.
