Nanaimo Clippers Week 12 Preview

The Clippers will look at their recent results as the glass being half full.
Nanaimo got points in every game, going 1-0-0-2 on their Mainland Division road trip.
The Clippers lost 3-2 in overtime in Prince George on Friday in a game that went into three on three OT.
Then on Saturday with a short bench Nanaimo beat Chilliwack 3-2.
They followed that off by earning a point in a 2-1 double overtime loss in Langley on Sunday.
All three games featured hard working performances by the Clippers and in the case of the Spruce Kings and Rivermen, Nanaimo earned points against teams who each had only a single regulation loss on home ice.
Entering the week the Clippers are tied with Powell River with 30 points for first in the Island Division standings.
They are one point ahead of their next opponent, the Victoria Grizzlies.
Nanaimo is in Victoria on Friday and a fan bus will accompany the Clippers to the game.
So far this season the Clippers have a 1-2 record against the Grizzlies.
The only home game of the week is against the Alberni Valley Bulldogs on Saturday.
It’s already the fifth head to head matchup with Nanaimo winning three of the first four.
Off the ice there was great news for defenseman Maxwell Crozier on Monday.
He was named to the World Junior A Challenge selection camp roster.
The camp will take place from December 2-5 in Calgary.
If Crozier makes the team he’ll suit up for Canada West at the WJAC on December 10.
