Wednesday Nanaimo takes on the Victoria Grizzlies for the first time since last season’s playoffs. Victoria won the series in five games and the Clippers will look to turn the tables in 2017-18.

Nanaimo is 2-0 in exhibition play while Victoria is 2-1.

Friday is the Clippers final home preseason game as they have a return engagement with the Capitals.

Then Nanaimo will travel to the Juan De Fuca Arena to take on the Grizzlies on Saturday in their final game before the start of the regular season.

On Tuesday the Clippers added another goaltender to the mix with the arrival of Noah Featherstonhaugh-Gowe.

He was acquired from the OJHL’s Burlington Cougars for future considerations.

Regular season play begins September 8th when the Alberni Valley Bulldogs visit Frank Crane Arena.

106.9 The Wolf is the game night sponsor and there are fun game night activities scheduled like a ‘Zorb’ race and blimp prize drops.

It’s also Emergency Services Appreciation Night with anyone who works or volunteers with police, fire, ambulance, or SARS getting a free ticket.
