Monday’s game ended 3-2 for Kings with Ben Berard netting the winner.

Nanaimo got off to a good start with Cal Babych stealing the puck from Kings goalie Matteo Paler-Chow in the first period to give the Clippers a 1-0 lead.

Berard tied it up early in the second with a power play marker.

The Clippers got the lead back early in the third period with David Silye’s second goal of the series, but Josh Coblenz tied the game when he beat Taz Burman just a few minutes later.
