The Clippers have points in four straight games and they’re over the .500 mark thanks to a 3-2 overtime win over the Cowichan Valley Capitals.
Nanaimo scored on the first shot of the game when Vincent Millette cranked a blast off the post in the opening minute.
But the Capitals took a lead to the dressing room after Cole Broadhurst scored from in close and Jonathan Stein beat Noah Featherstonhaugh Gowe on a cross ice pass.
There was no more scoring until late in the third period when Tristan Crozier beat Adam Marcoux on a penalty shot to tie the game at 2-2.
Nanaimo earned a power play in three on three overtime and Jake Harris converted in his first game back in the lineup after a four game suspension.
On special teams Nanaimo went 1/6 on the man advantage and 3/3 killing penalties.
They outshot the Caps 50-32.
The Clippers are now 3-0-0-1 in their last four games and 3-0 against Cowichan Valley this season.
