Nanaimo, B.C. — The Nanaimo Clippers have announced the schedule for the club’s 2026–27 Training Camp, beginning Friday, September 4 at Frank Crane Arena.
Training camp will give fans their first look at returning players, new additions and prospective Clippers competing for a place on this season’s roster.
Players will be divided into Team Black and Team Orange for practices on Friday before meeting in the annual Rhodesie Cup intersquad game on Saturday.
The public training camp schedule is as follows:
Friday, September 4
- 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. — Team Black Practice
- 12:15–1:15 p.m. — Team Orange Practice
Saturday, September 5
- 11:00 a.m.–1:15 p.m. — Annual Rhodesie Cup Intrasquad Game
All training camp ice times will take place at Frank Crane Arena.
Following training camp, the Clippers will begin their four-game exhibition schedule on Sunday, September 6 against the Powell River Kings at Hap Parker Arena.
The Clippers will also travel to Victoria before returning to Frank Crane Arena for two home exhibition games on back-to-back nights.
2026 Exhibition Schedule
- Sunday, September 6 — at Powell River Kings — 2:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, September 8 — at Victoria Grizzlies — 7:00 p.m.
- Friday, September 11 — vs. Cowichan Valley Capitals — 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday, September 12 — vs. Alberni Valley Bulldogs — 7:00 p.m.
Both home exhibition games will be played at Frank Crane Arena.
Tickets are on sale now for $15 for fans aged 13 and older. Children aged 12 and under receive free admission.
Admission to both home exhibition games is also included with all 2026–27 Clippers season-ticket packages.

The Clippers will open the 2026–27 BCHL regular season at home on Friday, September 18 against the Alberni Valley Bulldogs.
