The Nanaimo Clippers have partnered with Boston Pizza to bring features on current Nanaimo Clippers Players while they are home during the off-season preparing for the 2019-2020 Season.
The first feature is on defenseman Robby Drazner who finished off his first season with the Nanaimo Clippers with 20 points in 57 games, 4 goals and 16 assist.
Drazer’s favorite memory from this past season was beating the Trail Smoke Eaters in overtime to hit the longest BCHL winning streak from this past season at 10 games.
During the off-season Drazner will mainly be on-ice training to prepare for the upcoming season while sneaking in a few games of Golf.
When asking Drazner about what he is most excited about next season he simply said “playing with a very skilled and fast paced team with most guys coming back from last year and making a solid run all the way to National Junior A Championship.”
Drazner will be back in Nanaimo when Main Camp kicks off on August 19th.
