The Island Division semi final is tied 2-2 after four games and it couldn’t be closer.
There have been three straight one goal games and Games 3 and 4 went to overtime.
Nanaimo won Game 4 by a score of 2-1 with Preston Brodziak the overtime hero.
Both Matteo Paler-Chow and Clippers goaltender Taz Burman were tough to beat with the shots finishing 35-27 for Nanaimo.
Burman was beaten on a shot that bounced high into the air and landed on the stick of Ethan Kimball for a first period tally.
In the second period David Silye scored his third goal of the series for the Clippers when he blazed through a wrist shot from the left side.
Neither team scored a power play goal with both clubs finishing 0/4.
The series shifts to Frank Crane Arena for Game 5 on Thursday, with Game 6 slated for Saturday back in Powell River.
If a Game 7 is required it would be Sunday Mar 11 at Frank Crane Arena.
